Great Opportunity for Distributors: The Return of Raised Diamond Texture

Gloveworks Industrial Orange Nitrile Gloves with Raised Diamond Texture

If you could use a dose of good news, try this: The return of Gloveworks Orange Nitrile Gloves (product code: GWON) with Raised Diamond Texture (RDT) is revving up both glove distributors and their customers.

“We love your gloves, and our customers love your gloves,” says distributor Manny M. “We couldn’t get what we needed for a good while, so I’m glad you guys have them again.

“We’re selling mostly the orange and the green nitrile (product code: GWGN) now,” he says. “I just put in an order with you guys, and I’ll be doing that every month.”

Serving your customers is Job One

Manny has for seven years owned a safety, industrial, and pipeline supply company in Texas. He describes his business as “pretty much a one-stop shop for all of our customers. If there’s something we don’t have, we go out and outsource and get it for them. We don’t turn down a sale, nor do we turn down an order.”

In his area, oil and gas drilling is thriving. Jobs are plentiful, which means his company’s services are in demand.

“The crude oil and natural gas market is getting crazy,” he says. “We just got a New Mexico contract job for supplying one of our customers, so that’s going to get a little crazy too. But it’s good. We’re not going to complain.”

Sturdy gloves for challenging work

The nature of the work going on in the oil and gas fields calls for gloves that deliver serious protection, especially against permeation from petroleum-based substances. It’s also a major benefit that GWON and GWGN are durable and protect against rips, tears, and punctures better than other, lesser gloves.

From summer of 2020 until recently, heavy-duty nitrile gloves were hard to come by as manufacturers concentrated on producing the lighter, exam-grade gloves that were in demand during the height of the coronavirus. Distributors were left to improvise or shop around extensively.

“There’s a lot of customers that just wanted that specific orange glove,” Manny says, “so of course we had to see who else carries that kind of nitrile gloves—but the quality wasn’t there.”

Online portal makes ordering easy

Like other AMMEX customers, Manny adapted to our Online Portal. Launched in 2020, the portal has gone through a lot of improvements that he says makes ordering gloves easier.

The portal not only provides 24/7 access to gloves, but it is also a hub of information on all AMMEX products. Its sales support tools and digital marketing assets help customers sell more gloves.

“I really like the portal,” he says. “I’m really kind of hands-on. I like to see what I’m ordering and all that. The portal has really helped out since y’all launched it.”
