The last two years have been a challenging time in the disposable glove industry. AMMEX, like most international companies, faced significant obstacles due to the pandemic.
While obviously not perfect—and we have taken our share of lumps—the AMMEX team has devoted itself to ensuring we live up to customer expectations. While we haven’t always been able to deliver everything they wanted, at the same time, AMMEX’s honesty and commitment to excellence have been appreciated and acknowledged by our customer base.
As evidence, AMMEX was recently named Supplier of the Year for 2021 at the recent Distributor Partners of America (DPA) 2022 Jan/San Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Going above and beyond
“AMMEX has done an outstanding job of servicing our members,” says Zac Haines, the chief executive officer of DPA. “They set reasonable expectations and went above and beyond in meeting and exceeding them as they delivered a top level of service.”
DPA connects independent distributors and national suppliers within the Janitorial/Sanitary, Safety Equipment & Clothing, Industrial, Packaging and Restoration industries.

TUG joins DPA with recognition
In addition to receiving the Supplier of the Year honor from DPA, AMMEX was presented with the Pinnacle Award from The United Group, aka TUG.

AMMEX responded to the coronavirus by finding new sourcing channels, introducing new products, and instituting temporary allocations to ensure as many customers as possible were able to purchase gloves.
Online Portal made ordering easier
To provide our distributor partners with even more ease of doing business, AMMEX also created its Online Portal in Q3 of 2020. The Portal has continuously added features to allow customers 24/7 self-service ordering and other tools for growing their business.
Despite the challenges of the last two years, the AMMEX team answered the call, dug deep, and did whatever they could to take care of our partners and their customers. We remain committed to our core values: Simplify, Aim High and Deliver, Adapt, Grow and Improve, Be a Partner, and Be an Owner.
