AMMEX has been in business for more than 35 years. During that time, except for a few divergences, we have been intensely focused on disposable gloves. We think about them all the time—and not many companies can say that.
Fully understanding the market is something we take seriously. We’ve stayed in business this long by striving to understand the market demand and adapting our supply chain planning. We plan far in advance. We are always months ahead of the market and ensure our supply chain is as up to date and dependable as possible.
One way we keep our customers happy is fill rates.
To achieve a perfect order rate, one’s fill rate should be as close to 100% as possible. This would indicate that you’re fulfilling all the orders placed without encountering stockouts or backorders. On average, companies maintain a fill rate between 85% and 95%.
High fill rates are indicative of efficient inventory management, robust supply chains, and exceptional customer service. In fact, we check in at higher than 98% on our most popular products like Gloveworks With Raised Diamond Texture and Gloveworks Black Nitrile (GPNB). That is not insignificant.

AMMEX uses First Pass to calculate its fill rates. Why? Because it increases customer satisfaction. It consists of the percentages of cases ordered that are filled the day an order is received. That means orders are not only shipped complete, but on time as well.
Ever come up short on glove supply at an absolutely crucial time, only to wait days (or weeks) to receive your order? That doesn’t happen here.
You can expect reliability from a broad network of manufacturing locations. You can also expect to get the product you want, when you want it.
Put your inventory to work for you
Many customers see the primary reason for the existence of your company—your value-added service—is to get goods at the right price, in a timeframe and a quantity that allow them to conserve cash.
It is your inventory that ensures your ability to provide value to your customers and at the same time manage your business for profit. The old expression “out of stock is out of business” still holds true in many ways.
AMMEX can help you find the right glove for the job. Give us a call and let’s get to work.
