Communicating your safety plan effectively is arguably just as important as having a plan to begin with. Without efficient communication, knowledge of risks will do nothing to mitigate them. I’ve always been fascinated with taking information and communicating it in a way that’s easily digestible; that’s why I joined the AMMEX blog writing team. I’m Harry Rogers – AMMEX’s new Chief Safety Writer. I’m here to do the in-depth research on workplace hazards so you don’t have to.

Information on workplace risks is out there, but it can be difficult to find that information consolidated for your industry. We want to make it easy for employers and employees to be educated on and prepared for the hazards in their workplace. In the coming months I will be outlining workplace hazards in every industry that has a need for personal protective equipment. If you’ve read “The Dangers of Nail Salons” or “Hazards in the Automotive Industry,” you’re already familiar with my work.

This June is Safety Month and thousands of organizations, with the help of the National Safety Council (NSC), will be spotlighting safety concerns in work environments. This is the best time to brush up on knowledge about chemical hazards and biohazards and learn what you need to keep your employees safe. Stay tuned this month for safety information about your industry.
